Man stabbed to death in London gang attack

A man killed in a street stabbing in London at the weekend was attacked by a group of between 12 and 20 people, police said on Monday.

Officers who were called to an incident in Holloway, north London, on Sunday night found Andrew Jaipaul, 21, from nearby Finsbury Park had been attacked.

The victim, who had been stabbed, died at the scene, a Scotland Yard spokesman said.

The incident happened near Andover House in Andover Road, shortly before 10.20pm.

A post-mortem examination showed the cause of death as multiple incised stab wounds.
